Echo Healthcare is the proud licensor, manufacturer and distributor of Lifecast Body Simulation Products in North America. Over 30 years of creating manikins for films and movies (including Oscar-winning work on films such as “Gladiator” and “Saving Private Ryan”) have been married with the latest medical technology to create the most lifelike training tools available for today’s medical learners. Kevin King, CEO of Echo Healthcare, states, “We are thrilled to be able to serve our customers in both the USA and Canada with local manufacturing, supply and support. Here at Lifecast we listen to client feedback and using our own technical skills are continually looking for the next best thing to make our manikins better. After starting the business back in 2017 John and the team have trialled and tested numerous products and materials to make sure we give our clients the best that is available. We are now using a new grade of silicon for all our manikins! However we do not rest on our laurels and will continue to seek new ways of working and ways to enhance the Lifecast Body Simulation products.

The Royal Surrey County Hospital came to Lifecast with some specific requests that led to the worlds first hip dysplasia baby manikin being developed. Thanks to Bill Pasquier and Jo Macleod and of course the team at Lifecast for making it happen.

Our desire to build new bodies for medical education continues - we recently built the 27 week premature baby and we are now building 2 x Elderly Females Our models for Lifecasting include a 50 year old lady and an 81 year old.

One of our charitable projects this year was to support Alex a chap who is allergic to Sunlight - This involved many of the techniques we use in our manikin making, 3d scanning , Lifecasting and ultimately making a mask that was able to block UV light - yet allow social interaction.
